Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings. 

Check-in/ Check-out Requirements

In the interest of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference; their passport/government issued ID and a valid credit card which will be swiped for incidentals and damage deposit, in the presence of the card holder.

Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, guests may check-in at any time from 2.00 p.m. onwards on the scheduled day of arrival.  All rooms will he held until 11:59 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly. If not notified in advance of a late arrival we may we release the room.

On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 a.m.

Fees

Our room rates and pre-payments are based on double-occupancy. If you are booking for 3 or more, an additional guest fee of $25 will be charged for all persons over 12 years of age or younger children who require a full breakfast. This fee will be charged upon check-out from the B&B.

Cancellation Policy and No Shows

We require at least 48 hours notice of changes to reservations and cancellations requiring refund.  Cancellation with less than 48 hours will result in a full-night’s charge,  non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment.

Refunds

We understand that sometimes plans change and we will refund 100% of your pre-payment if notified with at least 48 hours notice of a reservation change or cancellation.

Damage

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the B&B during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

 Guest Behaviour

This is our family home as well as our business. Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with house rules or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property, its employees and guests and their health and safety.  We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from our home if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

No Smoking

Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas.

Children

All children (a person under 16 years of age) staying in our home must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Cots and pack-and-plays are available but limited and subject to availability. Please check at the time of booking.

Pets

A GENTLE OLD DOG LIVES HERE. We love animals. However, with the exception of service animals we do not allow pets. Our dog does not go into the guest area, but guests should be aware that there is a very old and deaf dog on the premises.  

Personal Information

All personal information stored and used by us is done so in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Force Majeure

The Dawson City Bed & Breakfast accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
